Archive of Industry is a collection of images and historical narratives documenting America's industrial heritage.
Our MissionThis collection is made available to help expand knowledge of industrial heritage. Independent researchers and non-profits are particularly encouraged to use items in this collection with appropriate credit. Publication-quality images are available for a fee.
Who We AreGerald Weinstein is a photographer specializing in large-format photography of industrial sites and a historian with a special interest in power generation, including electrical plants and steam engines. He is a long-time collector of photographs, documents, and books on the history of industry. This private collection and his own photographs form the basis of Archive of Industry collection. It has been his dream to make these resources available to others. Mary Habstritt is a researcher with a master's degree in library service. She writes and edits histories of industries and manufacturing sites in order to preserve their stories. Both have held office and are active members of the Roebling Chapter, Society for Industrial Archeology and its national parent Society for Industrial Archeology.
